I'm back to blogging. I caved... and I'm back. Fooled ya, didn't I?
Today I learned something new. I ran 5 miles straight for the second time in my entire twenty years. My body isn't quite used to that sort of strain and being the whimp I tend to be I got aches every few minutes. They were the kind of aches that came on with a small but oh-so sudden pain in my side that seemed to expand with every step. Whimp I may be, but determined I am also. I wasn't going to stop for some weak little pain in my side. So, drowning out Fergie (via my iPod) who's London Bridge was apparently falling down, I said to myself, "This is a great run. I feel so good. I feel the best I ever have." Over, and over, and over, and over.... And the pain was gone.
The power of believing, People! It's real. Simple, but so real.

Beau and I have been training for the 1/2 marathon too. You seriously have to say that you feel great, while you run! I am trying to get better! And P.S. I am glad that you are blogging again, I sure missed you!
I go through the same thing... and it works! There is POWER in positive thinking! Can't wait to run with you when I'm in town. We'll do the 6-miler together! WOO HOO!
Yay you are back!!!!
I was going to your blog thinking all the mean things I was going to write trying to get you to start blogging again, but I'm glad I don't have to.

Hayley-
In a world full of dull, boring, and depressed people this little blog of yours assures me that there are still people out there who love life. Your blog makes me laugh and smile all the time, and if that isn’t enough to motivate you to keep blogging I don’t know what is. You make this world a better place. After reading your blog I leave the computer energized ready to tackle the challenges in life that await me. You have a special quality in your writing that is soothing, that lets me know the little struggles we go through in life are all part of well...life, and we are better because of them. "Just your one comment could not only change a soul, but change the world. The world of blogging that is." So this is me, the "non-regular commenter" commenting your blog and saying thank you! Just like a comment can change the soul, so do your blogs. Your engergy is contagious. For the sake of everything good, keep blogging!
Sincerely, The stranger on the other side of the monitor.
