The last few weeks

Hey! This is me starting off my Spring Semester at USU in syle!

In case you are wondering (everyone asks, so I'll save you the breath), school is great so far! Classes are tough, especially my favorite: Chemistry. Trust me, I wouldn't have taken it if it wasn't required for my major. My major, by the way, is Family and Consumer Sciences Education also informally known as the following: "The Mom Major" "Home Economics Education" "The cop out major". That last one was quoted from a friend of mine who attends BYU, whom I sincerely disagree with. I love my major and the practicality of it. I couldn't have picked a better major for me.

School does keep me busy but I also find myself doing the following in my spare time:

*Searching diligently for new music (new to me, at least) My current flava flave is "Mr. Blue" by Catherine Feeny. I highly suggest YouTubing it as soon as possible - the video is great! My second favorite selection is the Juno Soundtrack. First of all, if you haven't seen the movie - SEE IT! And if you like it, get the soundtrack. Its unique and catchy.

*Reading short books. Almost more than novels, short "how to" and "self help" books are something I adore. One of the main reasons being I am a slow reader and a horrible multitasker and trying to read a huge novel in the middle of schoolwork mixes about as well as oil and water. "The World According to Mr. Rogers" is a warm fuzzy one if you're in the mood.

*Sewing burpcloths for my sister-in-law, Annie. Or should I say, for the newest addition to the Tintle family, June. She's so cute. I love my neices and nephews!!

*Thinking about my future "career". Mom was my first thought. That will be my career first and foremost and everything else is a hobby.

*Cleaning, organizing. What else?

*I started attending a (free!!) pilates class and totally dig feeling my tummy get flatter. If you've never tried pilates I highly suggest buying a video or finding a local class.

*I attended my first Tea Party on Sunday. About 50 people dressed in "old fashioned" clothes including hats and dresses for the girls and plaid pants for the guys were smashed in a funky old house to gather for "tea", a discussion on politics, and a game afterwards. It was one of the coolest things I've done in Logan.

Well, that's me the last few weeks. :)
